Fruit Chaat
Ingredients:
- Assorted fruits of your choice (such as apples, bananas, grapes, pomegranate seeds, oranges, and kiwi), diced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala (ensure it's suitable for fasting)
- 1/2 teaspoon black salt (sendha namak)
- Fresh mint leaves, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
- 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced fruits.
- 2. Drizzle lemon juice over the fruits and toss gently to coat. This will help prevent the fruits from oxidizing and add a refreshing citrus flavor.
- 3. Sprinkle chaat masala and black salt over the fruits. Toss again to ensure the fruits are evenly coated with the spices.
- 4. Transfer the fruit chaat to a serving bowl and garnish with freshly chopped mint leaves.
- 5. Serve immediately as a refreshing and nutritious snack during fasting.
